To sin or not to sin is the decision you make in life. Every person is responsible for his or her own life and decides to believe God and His Word (Библията) and walk in the will of God or not. Just like the Father, Jesus gave a command to sin no more but it was up to the people to give heed to his command or not. Let’s look at the story of the healing of the lame man at the pool of Bethesda and the woman who committed adultery and was caught in the act.
The healing of the lame man at the pool of Bethesda
В Йоан 5:1-15, Исус излекува един човек, който имаше недъг за 38 години. Този куц човек лежеше на легло в басейна на Бетесда.
When Jesus saw the lame man, He went to him and asked him if he wanted to get well. Куцият човек отговори на Исус, that he didn’t have anyone to bring him to the water to get healed.
Тогава Исус заповяда на човека да стане, да вземе леглото си и да ходи. The man obeyed the words of Jesus and stood up and walked. Куцият човек беше изцелен от Исус! But what did Jesus say to him about the decision to sin or not to sin?
Why did Jesus say to Sin no more?
When Jesus met the man who was healed of his infirmity in the Temple in Jerusalem, Исус заповяда на човека да не греши повече. Why did Jesus say to sin no more? Lest a worse thing would come unto him.
Исус изцели човека от болестта му (неговата немощ). Човекът беше изцелен и Божието царство дойде при него.
Царството на мрака беше пленило човека за 38 години. But when Jesus came and the power of the Kingdom of heaven came upon him, човекът беше освободен от робството си.
След това Исус го намери в храма, и му каза, Ето, ти си направен цял: не греши повече, да не би да те сполети нещо по-лошо

Исус освободи човека от духовния затвор на тъмнината
Jesus released this lame man from this spiritual prison of darkness. Now that this man was released from this spiritual prison of darkness, Jesus commanded the healed man to no violate the spiritual laws by sinning.
С други думи; Jesus told the man to keep the commandments and do the воля Божия and stay obedient to God instead of obeying and doing the will of the devil (който работи в плътта) чрез грях.
Because if the man decided to reject the commandment of Jesus and disobey God and sin, he would be taken captive again by the forces of darkness and worse things would happen to him.
Исус предупреди човека, because the man was carnal. He didn’t see the spiritual realm and couldn’t discern the spirits. But Jesus was spiritual and knew the spirit realm and the spiritual laws and revealed it to him through His word.
Jesus knew the Kingdom of Heaven and the kingdom of darkness. He wanted this man to stay free and not become a prisoner of the devil and darkness again.
Следователно, Исус заповяда на човека да не греши повече.
Исус каза, Go and sin no more to the woman that committed adultery
В Йоан 8:1-11, we read about a woman that was caught in the act of adultery. The woman that committed adultery was brought unto Jesus. Книжниците и фарисеите обвиниха жената в изневяра и казаха на Исус какво е направила.
They suggested to stone her according to the Закон на Мойсей. But the words of these men didn’t come from a good conscience. They only wanted to tempt Jesus, so that they could accuse Him.
Исус писа на земята с пръста Си и им каза, “He who’s sinless among you, нека той пръв да хвърли камъка върху нея“.
Jesus knew that the people that belonged to the old generation of fallen man were carnal. They were trapped in the sinful nature of the flesh.
Instead of stoning the adultrous woman, the men left one by one until there was no one left except Jesus and the adultrous woman.
В този момент, Jesus had the power to condemn the woman and stone her. Because Jesus walked in the authority of the Kingdom of God (като ново творение) and was sinless.
Обаче, Jesus said to the woman that He wouldn’t condemn her either. Since it was not Jesus’ time to judge but to save.
НО… Исус не одобри of her work of adultery. Jesus commanded the woman to go her way and не греши повече.
Исус й каза, Нито пък аз те осъждам: върви, и не греши повече

Новото творение е отделено от света
When you repent and become born again in Christ and enter the Kingdom of God, you leave the kingdom of darkness and are separated from the world. You have been forgiven, изкупен, and made whole and righteous by the blood of Jesus Christ.
You’ve become new creation and as a result of this spiritual transformation, вие ще свали стария си със старите си навици.
Вече няма да вървиш по начина, по който си ходил преди своето покаяние, because you repented from that lifestyle and its works (на плътта).
Важно е да осъзнаем това вече не си грешник. You have become a saint through regeneration in Christ.
If you don’t realize and believe this, you will always think and live as a sinner. You’ll be stuck in your sins and never be freed from your sins.
Когато се родиш отново, ти премина от едно духовно царство в друго (Колосяни 1:13-14)
In your old life, you thought like the world and walked in sin (sin = disobedience to God. It’s everything that goes against the Word of God that represents the will of God) and you were of the devil.
The nature of the devil will do his will
You had the character and nature of your father the devil. In your fallen state, не сте били в състояние да се подчините на Бог и да вършите Неговата воля. Вместо това, you lived after the will of the flesh in rebellion.
You were rebellious towards God and His Word and obedient to the words and will of the devil (волята, похот, and desire of your flesh), и живееше в грях. Библията казва, че ако съгрешиш, you have the devil as father and do the lust thereof (Джон 8:44).
When you decided да се покаят, вие косвено казахте, че не искате повече да имате дявола като баща. Ти не искаше да се подчиниш на думите му и да вървиш според волята му. Беше ти писнало от живота ти под негова власт.
Когато чухте думите на Евангелието и срещнахте Исус Христос, повярвахте в Него и Го приехте като свой Спасител и Господ.
Вие искахте Бог като ваш Баща вместо дявола и се подчинявате на Неговите думи и ходите по Неговата воля. Не искахте да се подчините на думите на дявола и да ходите по неговата воля.
Природата на Бог ще изпълни волята Му
From the moment you are born again and receive the nature of your Father God, you will long for Him and the things of His Kingdom. There must be a desire to do the will of God and to walk according to what God says.
A real father knows what is good for his child. A real father wants the best for his child. Ако един земен баща иска най-доброто за децата си, колко повече вашият небесен Отец.
Ето защо, God revealed His will to us in His Word (Библията).
God revealed to us not only what pleases Him and what displeases Him, but He also revealed the way of salvation, как да стане ново творение and how to walk as the new creation in His will.
God revealed it all in the Bible which is His Word. Така че, Неговият път става твой и His thoughts becomes your thoughts.
Did the people choose to sin or not to sin?
Исус каза на човека, който беше изцелен от недъга си и жената, който беше хванат в изневяра, да не съгрешавам повече. Следователно, these people had the power to sin no more. They had the power to say ‘no to sin’. But did they obey the commandment of Jesus and choose to sin no more or not?
Исус му каза, Да възлюбиш Господа твоя Бог с цялото си сърце, и с цялата си душа, и с целия си ум. Това е първата и велика заповед. И вторият е подобен на него, Да възлюбиш ближния си като себе си. На тези две заповеди се крепи целият закон и пророците (Матю 22:37-40)
Жената имаше силата да каже „не“.’ към прелюбодеяние, защото иначе, Исус не би й дал заповедта да не греши повече. Въпросът е, дали жената отговори на Исус’ заповед да не съгрешаваме повече?
Did the adulterous woman obey the commandment of Jesus or did she let her feelings, нейната похот, and her desire rule over the words of Jesus and give in to her feelings of lust and desire?
Не забравяйте, когато Исус заповяда да не грешим повече, His crucifixion and the изливане на Светия Дух had not taken place yet.
So these people were not born again. Те все още бяха старото творение. However the old creation had the power to say ‘no’ да греши и да не греши повече.
Вие също имате силата да не грешите повече. Вие решавате да съгрешите или да не съгрешите.

Спасени по благодат и вършещи делата на Духа
Вие не сте спасени от дела, but by grace. Но да си под благодатта не означава, че ти е позволено да продължаваш да грешиш. Защото ако вашата плът е умряла в Христос, когато сте се родили отново, как можете да вършите делата на плътта?
Да обичаш Господа твоя Бог с цялото си сърце, и с цялата си душа и с целия си ум и да обичаш ближния си като себе си (Матю 22:37-40)
When you are saved and born again, you see the nature and effect of sin, което е плод на смъртта. You will hate sin, точно като Бог. Ще намразите предишния си живот на грешник и няма да се върнете към него. (Прочетете също: Можете ли да продължите да грешите под благодат?)
Когато ти Обичайте Бог с цялото си сърце, душа, ум, и сила, която ще обичаш да вършиш волята Му.
You shall spend time with God and renew your mind with the Word of God (Библията) and apply His words into your life, така че да станеш изпълнител на Божиите думи и да вършиш делата на Духа. Не е нужно, но ти искаш, защото си направен по Неговото подобие и обичаш Бога.
Когато Словото и Святият Дух живеят вътре във вас, ще вървите след Духа в покорство на Словото. Ще вървиш влюбен, святост, и праведност, изпълнявайки волята на Отца и Го въздигайки и прославяйки.
