Walk in integrity with moral character

He that walks uprightly (in integrity and with moral character) walks surely: but he that perverts his ways shall be known (Proverbs 10:9)

Walking in integrity and with moral character

When a person walks in integrity and with moral character, he walks securely. He has nothing to hide and therefore there is nothing to be revealed. The person shall walk in the truth; in the light, instead of darkness, and therefore he has nothing to fear.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly (Ps 84:11)

Works of righteousness shall give peaceAnd the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. (Isaiah 32:17)

He that walks righteously, and speaks uprightly; he that despises the gain of oppressions, that shakes his hands from holding of bribes, that stops his ears from hearing of blood, and shuts his eyes from seeing evil; He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure (Isaiah 33:15-16)

The Lord is a Sun (a Source of light) and a Shield, to those, who walk in integrity and in His truth. They shall live in the light, and be protected by Him. They shall dwell on high, because they are seated in Jesus Christ, in the heavenly places.

As long as the person stays in Jesus Christ, the Word, he shall have nothing to fear in life. Because he will be protected by Him. The Day of the Lord will not come as a surprise. When that day comes, the Lord; the living Word, will judge everyone according to their works. The person, who has walked uprightly; in integrity and with moral character, has nothing to fear.

Walking in crooked ways

But the person, who doesn’t walk in integrity and with moral character, but in perverted ways, will walk in darkness. His works will be evil. His works will be hidden for the natural eyes of man, but not for the eyes of God. Therefore, his works will be exposed sooner or later. Everything, that happens in secret and in darkness, will eventually be brought into the light. The works of the person will be exposed, and when that happens, the person will be punished.

As long as a person lives on this earth, (s)he shall always have the ability to repent, and start walking uprightly on the path of righteousness, which will lead to eternal life. But when a person doesn’t want to repent of his/her wicked works, then when (s)he dies, it will be too late

The Day of Judgment

Everyone, whether believers or non-believers, will be judged according to their works, on the Day of the Lord; the Day of Judgement. Everyone will be judged and will be held accountable for their works on this earth. There is no one excluded. The Word will judge unto eternal life or unto eternal death.

But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasures up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that does evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that works good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: For there is no respect of persons with God (Rom 2:5-11)

Therefore make Jesus your Lord and Saviour, while you still have the ability, and walk uprightly on the path of righteousness, which will lead to eternal life. Don’t let the Word become your Judge so that you will receive your eternal punishment.
