Toward whom does the church bend her roots?

The church of Jesus Christ is placed upon the fertile soil of the Kingdom of God. This fertile soil has enough water and nutrition to ensure that the church bears good fruit. The roots of the church should extract nutrition from this fertile soil and not from any other soil. Unfortunately, the devil has tempted and misled the church and succeeded in causing the church to extract water and nutrition with her roots from another soil. The devil used deceivers, false preachers, and false prophets, who unnoticeably entered the church. Through their human knowledge and wisdom, own opinions, experience, and false teachings they have led many Christians astray. They have created a gospel, which is no gospel. Because of pride they have exalted themselves and set themselves as god and ensured that the roots of the church are cut off from the fertile soil of the Spirit and the church bent her roots to the soil of the flesh; the world, that belongs to the kingdom of darkness.

The roots are hidden

Although it may look like the church is placed upon the right soil and that the roots of the church extract nutrition from this soil, but one attribute of roots is that they are hidden. Nobody sees the roots and nobody knows where the roots extract their water and nutrition from, because they are hidden in the ground.

The church of God; the assembly of believers may look piously and the believers may look like Christians. Which means, that they do ‘good works’ and act the way the secular world expects a Christian to be. But no one knows, what’s on the inside and with what things the believer feeds himself or herself.

Many believers lead a double life and have a side in them, that nobody knows. To whom does the believer listen? What does the believer watch and read? With whom does the believer fellowship? In other words with what things does the believer feed himself and how does he spend his time?

Leaving the soil of God for the soil of the world

Many churches have left the soil of God for the soil of the world. Although this is often hidden for the natural eye of the old man, it is not hidden for the Holy Spirit, Who lives inside the new creation; the new man. God is omnipotent and sees everything. He sees what happens in secret and in darkness. And we all know that everything that happens in secret and in darkness will eventually be exposed and brought into the light. This also applies to the church.

If the church is no longer rooted in Jesus Christ; the Word and doesn’t feed herself with the things of the spiritual Kingdom of God and the Spirit, but feed herself with the things of this world and the flesh, then she will also bear the fruit of the flesh. Because the church will eat the fruits of her way (Prov 1:31). The fruits will be bitter. There shall be adultery in the church and in the lives of the believers, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and so forth (Galatians 5:19-21)

A humanist church

This is all due to the fact, that the church, which looks like the church of Jesus and pretends like she represents Jesus Christ, feeds herself with the world, engages with the world, and adopts the behavior of the world. The church has become prideful and has exalted itself as god. The church is built upon human knowledge, wisdom, intellect, philosophies, insights, and opinions instead of the Word of God. Therefore she has become a humanist church.

Jesus thrown out of the churchJesus has been rejected and man has become the center. God’s commandments, which are also the commandments of Jesus Christ, have been adjusted to the lusts and desires of man. So that, man can live like the world and doesn’t have to remove anything from his life.

Throughout the years, the church has made compromises with the world. She has exalted herself as god and in a very subtle way, she has made adjustments to the commandments of God and made her own commandments.

Because of that, the church lives like the world and bears the same fruit as the world.

There is hardly any distinction between the life of believers and the life of unbelievers. That’s because they both feed themselves from the same soil. They represent the same spirit as the world, namely the spirit of the antichrist.

The spirit of the antichrist, who represents the kingdom of the devil; the world, rebels and resists against God and all His commandments. This spirit of the antichrist will never submit to the Word of God but shall rebel in pride and shall consciously reject the Word of God, as a god.

The church has broken the covenant in Jesus Christ

The church has reproached and broken the covenant in Jesus Christ by her deeds. The believers have changed grace into lasciviousness. The righteous love, which ensures that believers order their behavior to the commandments of God and be dominated by His commandments, has been replaced by the new age love of this world.

False loveNew age love doesn’t acknowledge sin and therefore this love respects accepts and tolerates every sinful and unrighteous behavior; every sin and unrighteousness.

They’ve consciously rejected the Truth of God and replaced the Truth of God with the lies of this world, which is a bad thing. Their mind is blinded by all these lies.

They think they see, but they are blind. They think they hear, but they are deaf. They cannot listen to and bear the truths of God, but they keep listening and believing in the lies of the devil.

But these lies of the devil, which seem so lovely and promising bear evil and death. Many believers, who think they serve Jesus and God because they do, what is preached and taught in the church, are on their way to destruction and being lost forever.

Every soul is of God

Every soul is of God and God only wants one thing and that is, that every soul be saved. That’s why He has sent Jesus Christ, His Son, to this world. Jesus preached the truths of the Kingdom of God and confronted the people with their sins and unrighteousness and called them to repentance. Jesus has taken all the sins and iniquities of fallen man upon Himself. So that by His holy blood, everyone, who believes in Him and accepts Him as Saviour and Lord, and decides to follow Him, shall not see death, but shall receive eternal life.

Therefore repent to Jesus Christ and remove all the sins and iniquities from your life. Let Jesus; the Word guide you. Don’t feed yourself with the things of this world; the things of the kingdom of the devil. Don’t listen to what the world says. Because the human wisdom and knowledge of this world are foolishness to God.

The Word of God is the Truth

The things of this world are only temporary and will pass away. The so-called truths of this world change continuously. Scientific proofs are constantly adjusted and/or changed and old human scientific theories are replaced by new ones.

The Bible is a manual for the born again believerBut the Word of God is the Truth and remains the Truth.

Although the world changes, the Word will never change. The Word will always remain the same. That’s why God’s Word is reliable and brings forth life and peace.

Don’t reject the Word, but believe and submit yourself to the Word. Listen to the Word, renew your mind, apply His words to your life and build yourself up in your most holy faith. So that, you shall become and walk as the Word; Jesus. As long as you stay in the Word and stay obedient to His commandments you shall extract nutrition with your roots from the right soil of the Kingdom of God.

You are rooted in the one, in whom you believe. Faith means that you consider and accept the words as the truth and therefore you will apply them to your life and be a doer of the Word of God. Do you believe in the words of God or do you consider the words of God outdated and do you believe and do what the world says? Towards whom do you bend your roots?
