Did you know that Sarah was not the only one who was barren?

Did you know that Sarah was not the only one, who was barren, but also her daughter in law Rebekah, and Rebekah’s daughter in law Rachel? When the devil heard, that the seed of the woman would bruise his head, he did everything he could, to stop this from happening

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel (Gen 3:15)

The battle against the Seed

Throughout the Old Testament and the New Testament (the four Gospels), we read about the battle of the devil against the Seed. He didn’t want his head to be bruised, and lose his authority.  Therefore, he came up with a plan, to prevent the Seed from coming.

I will put enmity between you and the woman, between thy seed and her seedThe devil already succeeded in tempting Adam and Eve, and made them sin against God.

God had said, that the Seed would bruise his head.

Sarah was barren

Another thing, that the devil used, to stop the Seed from coming, was infertility. Sarah was barren, but God opened her womb.

Then the devil tried to do the same thing with Rebekah. And after Rebekah with Rachel, but God also opened their wombs as well. But the devil didn’t stop, but continued…
